What is the saddest anime for you?

Never watched it but as you said yourself, loads of people seem to say it's 'your lie in april'. I don't really want to put myself through all those feels if it is as sad as people make it out to be.

Pretty much why I currently avoid watching it. I'm not yet ready for all those feels again.
But, so far, the saddest anime I watched would be: Clannad: After Story and Plastic Memories
Angel Beats! could take the 3rd place as well.

The ending to Code Geass got me good. Clannad After Story also hit me hard, as well as Ano hana

I've reduced the amount of anime I watch on a monthly basis so I'm not sure if anything has topped Clannad After Story yet.
