I need a good AV now, what is better software? (specifically for stopping infections)

Bitdefender total security

or

ESET NOD32


Not familiar with either of these, but i've noticed that ESET is a bitch to get passed with a crypter. Heard good things about bitdefender but dont know much about that

I use ESET and haven't had any problems.

From experience I would go with ESET, I use it on all of the machines I maintain.

I would go for ESET, bigger user-base.

I use eset at work . Never had any problems with it. It is a solid AV and hard to bypass.

I use ESET, pretty good, not much could get past it in my experience.
