Depends on what kind of games you play (if at all) and your preference of shape/size, how important an accurate sensor is to you or build quality/switch preference of a keyboard.
Ambidextrous mice for FPS games are more along the lines of Zowie's FK series and Finalmouse products. Minimal, if any LEDs or fancy design and typically require no drivers.
You can also delve into the more niche mice like Logitech's G600 with lots of buttons, or their G502 for a nicer looking mouse that's a bit more software dependent. Even an MXMaster if you like wireless mice.
If you prefer different shaped mice, Corsair M65? Might just be their M-series as a whole offer curved-grip mice.
Mice with no software are bound to the advertised DPI scaling options, but honestly they're fine.
Keyboards are a little different. Size is a big factor for most people, you can usually distinguish the larger brands from the smaller. Not including niche boards like Poker or ergonomic keyboards.
Corsair/Logitech/Razer keyboards are typically lengthier and have more keys/additional buttons, more optimal for RTS/MMO games or people who like to bind desktop environment stuff. A lot of these keyboards also offer USB pass-through's which are quite helpful sometimes.
Ducky/CoolerMaster offer more "discrete" keyboards whilst keeping a variety of customisation, like LEDs and custom keycaps. They look more "natural" you could say. They also offer quite a few TenKeyless keyboards like the Rapid-i.
In regards to keyboard switches, research and make your own decision. Cherry MX switches are the most common.
