This is an update to my previous thread https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5497423
I currently host a web proxy services that I offer for free (stuffed full of ads).
https://www.overacity.com/
https://www.buythebay.org/
https://www.verydeep.org/
My current setup is two ESXi 6.0 servers running 1 pfSense VoE (virtual operating environment) and 1 CentOS 7 VoE each. The pfSense VoEs each have a /30 and a /28 public subnet assigned. The /30 subnets are dedicated strictly to the pfSense VoEs and the /28 subnets are NAT'd to the backend CentOS 7 VoEs, except ports 80 and 443 which pfSense handles.
The frontends which are running on the pfSense VoEs are utilizing haproxy loadbalancer software running in least-connection mode balancing between 26 instances of CGIProxy running on the backend VoEs. The backends are running heavily modified versions of CGIProxy in embedded daemon mode.
If you have any questions/suggestions please share them here, thanks.
