I'll have Kali but no Wlan card, only an USB which kali dont detect.

So i searched long for an Program for windows which cracks the wifi with an passwordlist. Does anyone know the program i am searching for?

If it's not too much trouble, you can easily get another USB adapter in any local computer shop and try those, but you can just as easily use aircrack-ng for Windows as much as Kali, however you will not be able to have any sort of packet injection, for getting a WPA2 handshake you will have to wait for the target clients to reconnect or connect on their own, and for WEP you can only improve your signal while listening with airodump-ng and pray that the target networks users start watching a whole load of pr0n

i thought about buying a wlancard so that i prevent problems like that in the future. So oke i thought that there will be problems with the handshake. so its better to buy the card, windows doesnt have that potential.

It is not impossible, but it will take much longer, besides, you can do so much more with an adapter made for pentesting, their signal and transmit power is far better, they can spoof
their MAC address and go past MAC filters, de-auth other clients which will end up with them bieng kicked out of the network with no way to stop it, and injecting packets, which can really change things and give you the right tools, they don't cost much either, the problem is that buying it online might take some time to arrive depending on where you live and how the customs are where you live, but otherwise it is much better to do this.

So you have a .cap file? You run kali without a compatible wireless adaptor?

when you have the .cap(handshake) file, you can use Hashcat for windows with dictionary, brute-force..etc

to crack with a wordlist, do this:

the -w 3 command is workload, max is 4 and min is 1, the higher the more power and % of your GPU you use.

Things are moving now to HCCAPX as there was an issue where even if you had the known password in your wordlist - the crack would fail.
