Hi, I was about to use hydra to brute force a gmail account but I was wondering if after so many years gmail team has not implemented some kind of security locking on it.

It is still possible to make a massive list attack without being blocked or without gmail notifying the victim?

No thats not possible using hydra ,
you will need more advanced tools
