I recommend using ESET NOD32. It's been a while since I installed it and I can't say anything bad about it.
Read this review, they explained it all.

Eset Nod32 is better,
Reasons :
- Free License codes are scattered around the internet, I just got a 3 month code for free.
- It's Cheap (5 year codes selling for $5 on HF, PM my buddy @Republica for info)
- It Doesn't keep pestering you and asking whether to allow each program or not, like kaspersky(Seriously, An antivirus is supposed to know about programs)
- It's silent (It runs in the background and silently does all the updates)

Eset is better then KP ......

I prefer ESET Internet Security.

Kaspersky's HIPs is better, and ESET's scantime is better. That's about it.

[GruntStyl]

ESET in my opinion. All personal preference though.
