[CSS] navigation bar color changing automatically?

Hello, once again im getting some problems while trying to change colors
On my navigation bar

On my style.css i have this

Code
#navigation .navbar {
    position: absolute;
    left: 0;
    width: 100%;
    margin-bottom: 0;
    border: none;
    border-radius: 0;
    background-color: #ffffff;
    -webkit-transition: top .25s ease-in-out;
            transition: top .25s ease-in-out;
}

When i upload it to my FTP server it changes automatically
From #ffffff to #000000

Also i even tried to put the default style.css again where it
Had the navigation bar initially, but its still changes to black.

nvm i solved this, for some reason my site isn't updating settings instantly idk why
I reccomend disabling caching on your browser when doing front end work like that.
1. Are you making sure the file is being REPLACED when you upload? You may have set up your FTP to skip file uploads if file already exists on server.

2. Try using "#fff" or "white" for color. Idk why this would ever work, but I'm not sure why your FTP is altering your code.

3. Purge cache, tell us what happens.
