Best technologies for coding a bot?

Need some advice for making a Supreme bot. For those that aren't familiar with Supreme, it's a clothing company that has very limited online releases every week. I want to create a program that I can run on a cron job or run every week that will navigate through the DOM/HTMl structure of the page and find the proper links for each item and then fill out the form to select the item, add them to the cart and checkout. I've created a program like this before using Python and Selenium a few years ago but am curious what other people would recommend for doing something like this.

EDIT: Also sometimes even after an item sells out, it might be restocked at a later date. What language would you all recommend for a program that runs forever that will check if something has been restocked?
Personally, I would use Python with BeautifulSoup + soupselect. soupselect offers similar functionality of jQuery which is my favorite JS library for HTML manipulation. I use jQuery for Greasemonkey scripts mostly and it's pretty great. For alternatives, there is also pyquery. Aside from that, the cronjob triggering the script is a pretty trivial task.
UBot is also a good option to make bot
If you are going to use a C# language check out BotKitty.

Disclaimer I am the author of it.
Python, Java, or C are my go to for things like this.
If you want speed and reliability I recommend using Nodejs, surprised no one has already mentioned it.

I code all of my bots in Java.
