I'm surprised this film hasn't received as much attention as it deserves. It has been a few years since I last watched this film, however I still regard it as one of my favorites and probably as a nice gateway anime for newcomers.

An generally original tale, the story concerns itself with the life of a single mother raising werewolf children in essence. While it may appear odd and directed towards the fantasy genre, the movie consistently remains within the sphere of slice-of-life to connect with its audience. This film also succeeds for its audience for its emotional appeal, hence why it may be a nice gateway anime. Progression wise, the pace jumps a bit here and there, but it is explainable as the entire story takes place over the course of a few years.

Art and sound were well done and very pleasing. The characters themselves do make up the film, as we see the MC and her children develop over the course of the anime. There are also a few side characters that are able to add to this development and even have some attention themselves. Overall, if you have 2 hours to kill and want to see an HQ film, I recommend this to everyone ;)

Very good film!

I really wasn't a huge fan of the ending, but I would still recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a movie one night.
Has been on my to-watch list for sometime now but haven't set time aside for it yet. It does look like it will be a beautiful story though.
Thanks for posting this. Will definitely be watching this.
Never really liked the film, apart from the art everything else was meh.
I thought it was an interesting movie. I related a lot to Yuki. And Ame reminds me a lot of my sister.
