Redwall's Testimonial
Introduction:
I started and joined hackforums in the year of 2013, I came in search of joining a new community and a change. I've always was a forum person since the early-mid 2000's such as Sythe, and runescape related forums for servers etc. I knew joining this forum would be no problem and it was thriving.
The main purpose on why i joined HF, was to join the extremely active Halo community (section) and learn about methods on how to make money and cheats for games.
Gaining Activity:
I mainly posted on the Halo section and that was where i met most of my friends on here. I dabbled around on other sections but nothing serious. I was very into Halo and competed in some of the HF tournaments and community events hosted.
I eventually got a few thousand posts and joined the group Instinct. I joined because it was a gaming group and I heard from multiple users that it was very fun. The Halo section soon died and Instinct subforums became my new home. (At one point, I had 10K posts in Instinct before it was pruned).
I eventually was upgraded randomly by somebody to a L33t, which made me mad because i always wanted to stay a regular member. I was around 5k posts and 4 awards and was still a regular member and then somebody screwed me over. I didn't like how L33t looked on me, So i applied for Ub3r and was approved instantly.
I made my own radio show at one point called "Redwall-Radio" which was completely free to users and was quite popular. I eventually shut it down because the costs of keeping it online was expensive.
Making money:
I started making some good money from Currency Exchange. I bought BTC for cheap and sold it for a 15% mark up via paypal. I gained a lot of reputation via the community from this. I also got into a little bit of marketing and money making.
I definitely have made $1000's of dollars because of HF and I'm thankful for it. The marketplace is unique and broad and is helpful for all types of products and topics.
Today in 2017:
I'm still extremely active, I'm online every single day. I'm always browsing and posting around (Mainly) The Brotherhood group section. I'm still active within the Halo section even though it's pretty much dead.
Summary:
HF is a great home for me and it's a massive community filled with people from all around the world. You are bound to find somebody in here who shares similar thoughts and hobbies as you. It's diverse and thriving every day. I've learned so much about technology and the internet since i've joined.
