Nice work! I like the quasi-3D effect on the text, and the tones are real subtle too. Love it.
Looks really good man, any recommended photoshop courses?
Everything I have made is from trying different things for four years but this picture makes me want to learn more.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of chromatic aberration. I use it subtly in some form or another in almost all my pieces. Cheers dude.

To be completely honest dude, theres not much I've actually learned from courses. But if you really want, try lynda.com and videocopilot.net (for after effects).
I learned the very basics from tutorials ages ago, and some more in-depth stuff + artistic basics at university. But in reality, the bulk of my photoshop and after effects and artistic skills came from self-learning and fucking around for many many years.
Keep practicing, and remember to get feedback for your work. Back in the day there were many graphic design communities, now there's not that many. But practice does make perfect, and if you want me to rate/critique/give tips, feel free to PM me any time. I'm always willing to help someone who wants to learn.

Thanks man, yeah everything I have made is self-taught but I'll deffo check out lynda I have free access to all Lynda courses.
I'll keep it in mind thanks SkullTraill.
I'm just curious as to why you've used after effects.
Was it because your plugin for the 3d/twitch effect was there?
It looks pretty good, but then again, not much was done to the original pictures.

Firstly, it's called chromatic aberration :P I didn't use twitch for it this time (I have about 6 different chromatic aberration effects).
And it's because After Effects is the right tool for the job. It's a post production and FX software. It's simply a better tool for CC, grading, and adding elements and effects (like the snowflake effect I used in the bottom half of the image to simulate sea spray).
Photoshop is great for comping (putting elements in, positioning them, removing their backgrounds etc etc) and is also pretty decent at Color Correction, but for everything else After Effects is just better imo.
Looks really sick! The monotonous pink color is really sinking in along with the text! Nice font as well!

Thanks man.
I generally try to make sure my pieces follow a good colour theme and follow an aesthetic.
Font is didot. It's fucking amazing.
