Nier and Drakengard 3 both have great soundtracks. Legend of Zelda is probably more recognizable though.

definitely all nintendo games ever made
have any of you ever played the point and click shivers, namely shivers II: harvest of souls? its still available somewhere out there just need a dosbox but, damn. 90s vibes up the wazoo with their soundtrack.

Final Fantasy XIV, Metal Gear Rising, The Witcher 3 (especially Gaunter O'Dimms theme), Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Donkey Kong Country, F-Zero, Thunder Force IV, and Re-Volt come to mind.

Metal Gear Rising is the only game I can think of where the sound design makes the game way more enjoyable than it has any right to be.
