Note: I'm writing this with all due respect to the entire Staff Team and the admin Omniscient. Sorry if I sound like I'm complaining but this is just because of my love to the forum.

This forum means everything to me. It's become a huge part of my daily life and I spend most of day browsing it. As you can see by my online time : account age ratio and my PPD. That was why I saved money to upgrade my account. That's why I gave out stuff to HF for free.

I was on a discord server today called The Hub. That server has a marketplace channel. I see a guy advertising to buy a signature.

Since I was L33t I immediately messaged him as I wanted to sell my signature space. He tells me this.

So I contact the other guy. This is our chat.

I immediately put on the signature and a couple of minutes later I received the BTC. Exactly $3.
Then I post a thread abut coding mentoring and log out for a while. Not opening HF at all. If Staff can view when I was online they will know that I went off HF after I posted that thread and put the signature on.

A couple of hours later I get informed by my friends on the official Skill Group Discord that I've been banned from HF. I think it's a joke at first but when I try to use the forum, I see this.

I'm shocked. I loved the forum so much. Even the people on both the servers know how much this shocked me. I almost cried, literally. Three dollars weren't worth getting my account banned. If I knew this signature would get me this, I wouldn't have worn it for $1K. I was never informed by Omniscient to take this signature off and if had told me, I would've removed it instantly and never put it back on. I've seen many members around with the same signature and thought it was okay so I put it on. For that I got banned till September and RKO'd getting me from 74 rep to -39. It's currently 12:53 am at the time of writing this and I don't know if I'll be able to sleep with all of this happening. I was told in The Hub that the person who bought my signature was codefuser, but I don't know if that is true or not and I don't know the person himself.

I write this, again with all respect to the team, and request to at the very least lighten the ban. The repkill is something I can live with. Although it would mean no more money-making on the forum, just having my account would make me more than satisfied. I just think that I didn't deserve such a harsh punishment for something I had no idea was disallowed.

You're banned not closed, there's no reason to make this thread. Just don't do it again.

Edit: Seems like you did it again, after Omni removed your signature for the first time.

This. You definitely sound like you are too obsessed with the forum, which probably isn't a good thing. You had an 80% warning as well, so clearly you weren't taking it as serious as you say. Just wait out the ban and accept the consequences.

The shortened link redirected to a blog that we block, which in turn is a satire on another site that's blocked. It's your responsibility to screen any shortened links and check the redirects to ensure that you are not violating any rules. To be frank, the content is tasteless.

Bans aren't up for appeal, but in the off chance that yours will be heard, I'll only be closing this thread.
