After Alpha and Beta, they just used alphabetical order, and used the corisponding food as a code name, instead of having C, D, E; they had cupcake, donut, eclair.
So it went:
Alpha, Beta, Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, Nougat
And the next one (as OP stated) will be Oreo
I like it :)
