How do we use custom skins in 2017? MKjogo seems to be gone now.. I just want to be able to use the paid skins for free locally :S

Pretty sure you can use wooxy however im not sure how up to date the skins are.
If you think privacy is unimportant for you because you have nothing to hide, you might as well say free speech is unimportant for you because you have nothing useful to say.

I'm not looking for custom custom skins, I just want to exchange the paid skin files for the free one so when I use the default skin it shows as the paid skin.

Oh don't think that is possible as I think they verify your skin on their end before the game starts.
