How to compile a AutoIT script without autoIT

Hello,
I was wondering how I can compile an autoIT script without having autoIT on my computer? Is aut2exe.exe enaugh to do this?

yes should be enough.
Also there is an option to compile your scripts to a3x files, which can be executed by every executable created by the autoit compiler.
Aut2exe will do it.

Truly what Aut2exe does is compiling your script to .a3x (it's a compression lib by AU3 author) and adding it into the resources of the AutoIt interpreter (RC_DATA\SCRIPT). You can even do it manually that it will work but of course using Aut2exe is faster and easier.

No runtime libs or other external dependancies are needed to run AutoIt compiled (.exe) files.
