Simple! Basically I operate as an escrow account between two parties. For example;
User A and User B want to trade Bitcoin for PayPal but neither of them wants to go first due to the risk of scamming. User A would send his currency to me and I would confirm that I have it. Once I have confirmed that I have the currency, User B would send his currency to User A. Once User A confirms that he has received the currency, I would release whatever I am holding to User B.

• Why don't you use/hold PayPal?
PayPal is extremely risky to use as a third party Middle-Man due to the fact that the funds can be reversed extremely easy. If a certain user was to charge back the funds that I was supposed to hold - both users would have their currencies but I would have to pay the amount that was chargebacked. I will not hold PayPal under any circumstances.
