Hey guys! I live in an area in the hood, and while I see a lot of small businesses, I realize that none of them know the safety precautions of hiding physical media. Every time I go to the stores, I notice that the RJ-45 plugged, cat 5/6 is sticking out. One of the store owners and I have gotten close over time, so I decided to put my two sense in and give some advice.
I tell the guy "(insert creative name here) you should hide the wire because someone can just come in, and do a network tap on the wire which is bad because they can steal the info; blah blah blah"
He didn't want to do it because it sounds like too much work.
I know traffic is encrypted, but it hasn't stopped people thusfar.
Anyways, can you guys help me convince him to hid is treasures? Like in terms of how easy it is, and whatnot?
I cant think of anything else other than people can wiretap.
