Want to run wannacry in sandboxie and tear it apart a bit. Anyone wanna send me it?

Edit: Managed to obtain it on 4 computers, Having a great time so far finding out a lot of cool stuff.

There is no executable. (EDIT: That you can find and execute yourself. Its more so by "luck" that you get infected.) Its a worm.

Keep in mind, if you have (lets say) an Windows XP box, and let it get infected, and that box is on your network, the worm will try to find other systems that it can infect.

A statement from an article I read;
"If you're infected with this ransomware, disconnect the device from the internet, and unplug it to prevent further spreading. You will be doing everyone a favor by doing so."

Computer is 100% isolated and looking to analyze and possibly find a fix of some sort. Anyone? Just looking to get it installed some way

Have had a Honeypot server up for hours now with nothing. Looks like I need "mssecsv.exe" to get the ball rolling. Anyone?

Honestly good luck if you do get it. If you can fix it you should supply the fix to hospitals, schools etc.

I'm very interested in seeing the end result of this, I don't think it will be good though. Regardless please keep us updated somehow throughout your dissection of this virtual STD. If you find a fix you should sell it for half the price the Wannacry hackers are demanding 😏

Bumping it up a bit, Have one VM running with 445 open and also just booted an old xp machine I have laying around, will run this also with 445 open and see if it gets my anywhere. Maybe I can get them to infect eachother too.

I am on windows xp in virtualbox and my host is on win 10 with latest updates.
I am analyzing it without disconnection from last 4 days. no problem on win 10 untill now.

My server was infected with this, nothing but Steam Game backups and renders from baka renders. Removed all the drives from my desktop and server and installed new ones.
