First off, This is my first thread so go easy on me. 🤝
Does your mouse move erratically on it's own?
Even though this is particularly scary at first there's usually an easy enough
explanation for it especially on Laptops. If your mouse moves by itself only
when charging chances are that either your charger isn't getting enough
amps to properly charge your battery (Usually caused by using extension
cords or faulty chargers) which causes your mouse to register false clicks
and touches, or you have a static charge build up/ground fault which can
usually be solved by unplugging laptop, removing battery and holding the
power button for 10 seconds.
Also check that your touchpad hasn't been exposed to moisture which can
make it register false clicks and touches and that your touchpad sensitivity
isn't set too high. Check if the mouse movement is stopped by using external
mouse!
Hope this saves a few headaches and saves some unnecessary hard drive
reformats! 👍
