Affiliate Marketing Niche Idea

Hello, I'm new to affiliate marketing, and I'm trying to decide on a niche to theme a website/blog around to get the most traffic. To anyone who has experience, what's your opinion on creating a news blog? Obviously, I would have to target some type of niche or have something that separated my blog from others. My thinking on this tho is just the fact that that you would have so many things you could write about. Should I consider a different niche? Thanks for your help.
With so many "news blogs" around, do you feel you'll be able to stand out? If not rather dont waste your time, its extremely time-consuming process, I'd rather put effort in creating some sort of a review website around most sold products on Clickbank, you'll obviously link your affiliate link on the same page.

Like sonex already said...It's hard and time consuming building a good quality blog that get's ranked anywhere in higher positions...Concentrate on other projects...
Pick the niche you know more things about and you have access plus you like because you to do with this for a long time. Most popular niche's as far as I know are dating and health products that usually convert.
Thanks for the advice everyone. I really appreciate it.

Stop worrying about which niche will get you the 'most traffic' your aim at this point in your affiliate marketing career is to get your feet wet and learn actual skills, once you do choose a niche you should stick to it and not give up after it doesn't work in the first month or few.. this is why 95% fail in CPA!

Also pick a niche/passion that you love and not just because you saw someone's photoshopped Shopify earnings on a facebook ad.. You need to do this because any sane person will quit without the crazy motivation that you get from something you love or are passionate about!
Try finding a niche that you are passionate about, it will be much easier for you to keep going.
