Hi there, I'm trying to scan some site however I'm getting this (below) error, can you please advise me what is going wrong???

Completed NSE at 11:44, 0.00s elapsed
Initiating NSE at 11:44
Completed NSE at 11:44, 0.00s elapsed
Read data files from: /usr/bin/../share/nmap
Note: Host seems down. If it is really up, but blocking our ping probes, try -Pn
Nmap done: 1 IP address (0 hosts up) scanned in 11.60 seconds

Appreciate your help.
The host Is either down, or It's blocking the ping probes being sent.
as it says try it with -Pn
thanks, appreciate your help!!

There are some other scans that you can do to see if maybe the firewall is blocking your ping. You dont have to do a full handshake or a half open handshake you can do just the end part or the middle of the hand shake.
Look into xmas scans and null scans and see what the flags do.
check out the nmap website they have some very good reading on the diffrent types of scans and what they do.
i have all these commands over on my blog check it out here https://www.hempstutorials.co.uk/nmap-101/
