I have a GIF I want to use as my avatar. Is it possible to use a GIF? It isn't an annoying GIF. I tried to use it but it doesn't move at all, it's just stuck at one frame of it. Should work for a sig as well?

I am tired a bit so if I somehow missed something in the docs explaining this I apologize in advance

Yes, it is possible. Make sure it's under the size limits.

The maximum dimensions for avatars are: 120x150 pixels.
The maximum file size for avatars is 75 KB.

You can also do what FH said, and directly upload to imgur and then take the DIRECT URL of the image (which should look something like: https://i.imgur.com/kjdklfj.png) and paste it into the URL slot and save that.

throw it in ezgif and change the settings to the required dimensions then just change the settings until its under 75kb
