A lot of you U.K users on here will know of the bank Santander and that is the bank I am currently with.. or shall I say I was with?

My bank account has been frozen for the past 10 days and with numeral phone calls to the bank and the escalation team I have yet to be told why my bank account has been closed and it is fucking draining.

Thank fuck I have all of my money spread around and most of my money in my blockchain wallet so I can convert it over to cash and what not but does anyone know the legality of me getting my money back since it is quite a huge sum?

I've spoken to FatGuySlim on LocalBitcoins (one of the biggest bitcoin brokers) and he said to make sure I get my money back but I'm wondering what the process is for that?

So it got frozen for transferring btc to it? I don't know much about this, but you could get in contact with someone higher up at the company and explain the situation.

you can talk with the bank manager regarding that problem .
be sure to bring all the documents you can show
( proof of address like electric or water bills , national id )

Ask to speak a supervisor, in the end it's your money. depending on the amounts that went through your bank you can say they suspect you of maybe money laundering or tax evasion?

You go into Santander and speak to them ASAP and make sure you complain about the service.
If it was Lloyds, I could have helped.

A letter along with a cheque of £6,500 is now being sent to me through the post and I am officially no longer an account holder of Santander.
