I have an ASUS H81M PLUS Motherboard and was wondering what's a decent CPU to buy that is compatible?

I'm currently using an Intel Core i3 4170 and I've seen the i5 4690k and i7 4790k and they both look decent.

I also have an EVGA GTX 1050Ti and I'd like to play GTA V on all settings maxed out.

I won't be using my computer for anything else apart from gaming and general tasks such as web browsing and watching videos.

I have 8GB (2 x 4GB) Hynix 1600MHz DDR3 RAM and 500GB HDD (planning on getting a 128GB/256GB SSD soon)

I'd also like to know a decent PSU I could buy as well as I'm currently using a CiT PSU which aren't that great.

All settings maxed out? An rx 480 8gb can barely do that at 30+fps. You're going to need to look at the geforce 1070 and higher.

There's no sense in getting an unlocked CPU with a board that you can't overclock.

Definitely go with Corsair or EVGA PSUs. My gaming rig uses that motherboard with an i5 4670/960 4GB OC edition + overclock.

There is no possible way you can play gta5 all settings maxed with a 1050 and a i3 processor.
my build is 1060 4gb, intel i5 66k and i can get around 50 - 70 frames on benchmark on average-high settings...

If you had the 6 GB 1060, you could probably max it out... I'm pretty sure in GTA, high/max is very similar.

With the 6gb card maybe @ 30-40fps. 4gb ram would not be enough to max it out.
