I will say ETH is a coin that never fails to excite me. The techonology and coin itself has so much potential, and is going to crush the market because it actually owns a lot of value to it. I bought some more ETH $3k+ @ $255 a few days ago

1. http://coinmarketcap.com Website provides data for the values across the various exchanges and includes historical data.

2. https://www.coinbase.com This is where a regular person would be able to buy and sell Bitcoin and Ethereum. It's a US based company with a long history and is very stable and trusted. It is the Paypal of crypto currencies.

3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptocurrency Wikipedia page for quick description but some of it might be beyond average persons understanding.

4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ultLPNj-a8Y Video to describe Bitcoin for beginners. Realize it's 4 years old though and doesn't fully explain everything current going on.

5. http://www.coindesk.com This site is an excellent source of current news concerning cryptos. This site should be a great base to read articles around the web.

6. http://ethereum.org My personal favorite is Ethereum and this is their official website.

I'm definitely gonna hold my eth for awhile i was thinking cash out at 400$ but i feel like that might hit sooner than i originally thought, it would be insane to see it pass it bitcoin one day

seeing how we are at $331 right now, I am guessing it will happen sooner than we expected as well :p
