Deal with caution (lying in -rep): Ub3r member "King Capital" (UID 2903697)

This is a warning about Ub3r member "King Capital" (UID 2903697) who left me false negative rep regarding a trade of my Bitcoin for his PayPal. I believe he may have been trying to scam me or other members.

Screenshot of our PM conversation: we agree on an exchange rate and move the conversation to Skype.

Screenshots of our Skype conversation:
- He asks me to send bitcoin first.
- I ask if we can carry out the trade using LocalBitcoins (an established over-the-counter Bitcoin trading site) as an escrow, or otherwise if he can go first.
- He says he does not want to use LocalBitcoins. (I think his excuses for not wanting to use it were pretty weak.)
- He wants me to send half the Bitcoins first, then he will send the full PayPal amount, and I can send the other half of the Bitcoins. (Personally I found this a little suspicious, as I'm a new member and he didn't seem to have much reason to trust that I'd send the other half of the Bitcoins.)
- I refuse, and he says "enjoy the -3 on ur profile", "idc what u do, not how HF works".

In the negative rep he left me, he says "Refused MM DWC."

His negative rep is false: He never suggested to me to use an MM at all. I offered to use an MM and he refused.

I do realize that I'm the newer member on this site. However, I'm still cautious about sending first, and I'm also aware that established members do pull "exit scams" from time to time. It's especially risky for a trader to send Bitcoin first, because it is irreversible unlike PayPal.

I don't mind the -3 rep, but I would like this user to correct the comment in the -3 rep. Given this behavior, I'd advise anyone considering trading with him to beware (and to use a middleman if possible). I don't want anybody to lose a few hundred dollars in BTC to an avoidable scam.

Edit: King Capital's trust scan as kindly shared below shows there are 4 disputes open against him at the moment also.

Please deal with caution with "King Capital"!
His rep on you is valid, even thought it might be false not much you can do about it.
An erstwhile gamer with several thousand dollars in donations and multiple group leaderships to his name, in March 2016 Red Sox was closed after his account, Skype, and BTC Wallet were allegedly compromised and used to scam other users.
Complaining about rep will only get you more negative rep.
He probably was trying to scam but I don't blame him for not going first to you.

Well I honestly don't care for having 7 rep points vs. 4 points now, I can easily ignore it.

What he said in his rep is 100% false though. I don't know why he lied - it's the only thing that bothers me, that I want to warn people about.

Thank you, and it is understandable that he didn't want to go first. But then my only option (not to get -repped by him) would have been to go first and risk my BTC, since he refused to use escrow - even though I said it'd be simple and I'd set it all up for him.
He didn't call you a scammer or flame then sadly there is nothing you can do, clearly looks like a scam attempt so good on you for being cautious!

No worries about the rep, I just posted these screenshots in case it is ever useful.
Lmao. Feel free to add this to the OP. Its the trust scan. In my opinion, the account is likely compromised.

Notice he has 4 disputes open against him at the moment.

Most are old but it wouldn't surprise me if he sold his account after scamming or he literally just came back to scam more after a name change.
I suppose at that name he just took the money by mistake 🤮

Reread what I posted. Added some more context.
Sorry for your lost bud. Next time, make sure you check his trust scan first. He has 4 unresolved disputes.

Thankfully I did not lose anything. I'm glad his trust scan was brought up in this thread.
