Visual Studio Extensions

What are your recommended/suggested VS extensions?
Are you talking about language agnostic extensions?
Viasfora/Resharper/Visual Assist X
There is only C. Everything else is skid overhead.

Mainly to make it easier to look at and code organizers (e.g. CodeMaid).

Other ones you enjoy or recommend are also highly appreciated.

Would you recommend Resharper moreso than Visual Assist X or viceversa, or even both used in conjunction?

They both look amazing, I just got ReSharper (Company willing to provide compensation for one so I went with that one since it looked more 'complete' but I am definitely more than willing to pay for VA-X if it is just as good if not better).

For what? Resharper is godlike for .NET. VA is for C/C++

Indent Guides: VS 2017 implemented but Indent Guides is by far superior to VS 2017 native
VSColorOutput: very useful for debug

Okay, I grabbed both. Why not, right? So far, ReSharper C++ has been more helpful to me than VA but both do different things. I just happen to not use the VA stuff as much as Re#er.

Isn't that just for indents? ReSharper C++ has formatting and there's also codemaid/viasfora for appearance and readability improvements.

Is indent guides more than just appearance?
