[Suggestion] Marketplace Restrictions

Not sure if this has been suggested before, and this will probably be denied, buuuuut. What about a filter that prevents people with open deal disputes from posting in the marketplace until it's labeled as resolved, plugged into the deal disputes database maybe, or maybe X number of open reports. Generally I could see this being a bad idea, but you never know unless you speak up. 🤝 Would like to hear more, or see staff's opinions on such an idea.

Thanks,
Linux
Will be denied staff won't get involved and the market place is deal at your own risk.
Market place it's at your own risk buddy: Be aware that if you are involved in CE you may get SCAMMED. That's just a fact.

1. You're doing deals at your own risk.
2. Staff will NOT GET INVOLVED.
3. Scammers love to CE scam and especially target new members.

Seriously, TRUST NO ONE and even better, don't use HF to currency exchange.

Staff wouldn't be involved it'd be completely automated by the system if you have an open report you cant post in the market its as simple as that.
Suggested before and denied for many reasons. Can be easily abused and Staff does not get involved with deal disputes.

The concept of "HF does not get involved in deal disputes" extends beyond staff directly spending time looking into deal disputes. Placing regulations on members with deal disputes is considered "HF getting involved in deal disputes", albeit less directly.

Furthermore Staff will have to directly get involved with deal disputes not if, but when, this gets abused.

So you want to give every single user on HF the ability to prevent another user from posting in market place?

If I don't want you to post in market place, then I can simply make a fake deal dispute which can never be resolved. Therefore you are permanently banned from market place.
Bad idea in my opinion. I've been PM'd directly by scammers in the past. They usually don't post. Just PM you directly when you post something.
Noted and closed. I had an assumption this was a bad idea but this shows.
