This^ The show ended well enough, if there is a season 2 then it'd have to be entirely different characters in it with maybe some reference to the original people.

Always bugged me that it was convenient that Tsumugi's parents are not only incredibly rich but own the one instrument store they walk into and basically give Yui a fucking Gibson. On top of that, there are other things just to lightly advance the plot point. So peoples family's can't be rich and own multiple business? Also Yui is a fast learner. None of that is a plothole.

There are a few angel beats OVA that I didn't know about that were released a few years after the show; or honestly like only a couple years ago. You could try watching those to get your hype up. lol
