Pinterest - Browsing Gallery Design

I've been using Pinterest for quite a while and I've loved how it used to be.
Although the current app has some weird animations such as when you tap on a photo, the buttons first show up then they drop down a bit.
I have changed how that works in the second screen.

I like remaking things. I like sketching and doing wireframes. I am adapting to the current trend and working things out with joy.
And nonetheless I like sharing it with everyone to get inspired as well.

Much improved from that (old) restaurant UI you shared - great stuff!

Just a few minor things I noticed:

1) what's the thing in the top left? Is that a Pinterest logo redesign? What happens if you click it?
2) Is the comments icon with the notification bubble just telling you about comments, or is it a general icon for all notifications? If it's the former, why is it not the latter? If it's the latter, it needs to be more of a general notification icon imo (like YouTube's bell icon for its notifications).
3) The 'profile' icon looks a bit squished. Idk if this would work, but could you use the user's profile picture in there? Maybe that would be too small. If you could make the profile picture work, you could then implement a neat UX gimmick where that picture would acquire a gradated stroke of the same palette as the Pinterest logo if you had notifications to attend to, and you could then potentially eliminate the cluttering notification icon and just roll all notifications into the profile screen. Just an idea, idk if it would work.
4) There should really be a demarcation between the scrollable feed and the static top bar. A slightly darker grey (really an off-white) background to the top bar would work nicely.

Other than those small suggestions, I really like how clean this is. It's a great example of that cliched quote about design not being finished until there's nothing left to remove.

Thank you,

That is a logo indeed, redesigned if you may. If you click it you refresh the feed.
Once you click the bubble, you open a page with 2 sub boxes with Notifications and Inbox, as you may find in the actual app.
The profile icon I do not like to be honest. Used to have another one in but I dropped this one for some reason. The idea sounds great, don't know how much of a gimmick that would be though, as I was trying to let things simple.
A demarcation is possible once you start scrolling down, the images actually go behind the header so to speak.

I have posted an Instagram remake as well. Would appreciate the feedback.
Might work on something new tonight, from a sketch.
