I was originally going to make my rendition of the Paypal mobile app but the more I went with it the more I didn't like it so I changed it up. I've never been the greatest at app UI's but it's a start lol.

Anyways, Wander is a social app (not a real one though obviously it's a concept lol) that basically let's you choose from various activities near you based on your current location. It also tells you current events near you. In my mind since it's a social app, you could link up with friends who are near you or just send them an invite via the app or something of that such but that wasn't included in the design.

I can tell this was inspired by AvessoVision. Thought you were gonna make a PayPal UI design though? What made you change your mind?

I really like the idea of it. It serves a multi-purpose and could be quite handy in the long run if it's a social app you're aiming at.
Try merging all layers and resize the image afterwards to give it a crisp look and not be forced to use spoilers.
It also gives you a better view over the whole design.

Would give up the Italics and the boldness of some subtitles.
You should try and visualise the next part of your concept and that is pressing everything that can be pressed on and see how would it turn out. Will the user be pleased once he presses on one of the tags in there? Would it pop out, fade or will it load another page?
User should be able to write his own social or recreational things and not showcase it as "more".
A map popping off with nearest pubs, diners, etc would be a plus definitely as it would also show where your friends are in current time or where they've been.

I would like you to continue working on this. Improve and improve. An app concept works the best for me on paper. Give it a try.

Will do ~ I'll probably fix this Home/Index Page up and then I'll make different versions showing how each button would work. I might change the "tag/button" idea for the activities into some sort of search bar instead, how's that? And I'll probably change everything away from italicized. It started out with just the greeter line but after that it just start of looked weird combining the italicized text with regular.

You can try a search bar, yes. Maybe a dropdown as well. Find your ways with it.

Or be creative. A button that opens some kind of round shape with different icons? Play some music and just think how would you like to improve this? And not by simply adding common things, but by upping the game.
