Barbershop Session UI Design

Not much to say.
I was browsing Pinterest and stumbled upon some interesting things that in the end pushed me on doing a barbershop appointment/session.
Wanted to add an option for tips somewhere in there but wouldn't fit quite well where I needed it to go.
This is a quite simple appointment page where you would choose your desired option, date and proceed to the checkout.
I had a totally different idea in my head but wasn't that appealing nor user friendly.
Nonetheless, enjoy and get inspired.

Edit: I have made another version which is darker and I have changed some fonts around for a better look.

Colors needs fixing, including the buttons.

Maybe a better font could be used for the numbers.

Apart from it needing a good logo the rest looks great.

Nicely done mate.

That's fucking beautiful OP. What was all this made in?

I wanted a vivid design this time as I first went with a dark blue background and light buttons.
I have tried finding a proper font for the numbers in my garbage collection and I could only come up with Calibri. Might retouch that later.

Thank you,
Indeed it could use a proper logo. Might google some things and see what I can find for inspiration.

Thank you,
It was all done in Photoshop CS6.
Font used for the info is Aller and for the numbers Calibri.

That sounds like a really great idea. You can come up with logos for the future designs I will be posting or we can even talk about it on Discord.
I do not want to force you into this, as it should be a great practice for you and a lot more for your portofolio as it is for mine (on which I still need to design quite a lot)

I have updated the thread with a darker version as well.

The dark version makes me nut in my pants
I don't like it. You go with the same style for all of your UI projects and though you're improving, sometimes the style doesn't fit the substance. In this case, I can't help but feel like for a barbershop this style is inappropriate - it looks cookie-cutter, impersonal, sterile, and out-of-place. Barbers are local, homegrown shops, and imho that needs to come through in the design - it doesn't. Instead, the style looks ripe for use by an internet start-up or similar. So yeah, the design is pretty good, but I can't escape the feeling that the client (the barbershop) is entirely incidental to the piece; it's just there as an excuse to enable you to practise this same style again, and that sits uncomfortably with me.

Thank you,

You are right. Although it does not fit the theme, this is what I had in mind for the moment as I was inspired. But as I am here to learn from my mistakes and improve with each design (hopefully) with the help from people like you, I can say I will be trying to fit the theme within the actual design that I'll be showcasing.

I like the second one. My goodness you did a fine job.

I would be down to collaborate as well if interested.

Drop me a PM and let me know. 🤝
Not bad. But I think that colors do not match :/
You manage to put all the main info and intaction within one screen. A two-step path (1. Choose the service // 2. Choose date and time) while keeping the user progress (e.g. choosen service) may make the interaction clearer for the user.
I really liked the idea behind the design, and also a nice one!
