I am starting to get into lower level programming, primarily to play around with writing exploits or other programs that interact with lower level code and file execution.

My question is, what language is optimal for things like antivirus bypassing, file encryption, and actually manipulating things in the system? Between C and C++ what is the better choice to learn first?
