CyberDoor - Cyber Security Company

Hello everyone,

I am making a cyber security company. This site has been open since July 4th (patriotic I know). We are currently just a forum HOWEVER, with my staff and team, we are creating tons of potential projects in the background. We won't release them until a stronger user base comes. Please let me know if you join. Love to hear your feedback!

Just personal preference, but I'd lighten up on the overlay of the images as they seem a tad too dark for my liking. I dig the forum theme overall however. Could possibly be my OCD lashing out, but I would also level 'Upcoming Events' sidebar w/ the 'General Area' section. No complaints other than that; hope you're able to start up a company.

Hey Lukas,

First and foremost thanks for checking out the site. I did make that slight change in regards to the upcoming events. In regards to the images being too dark, can you elaborate? I just want to make sure I fully understand what you're saying. Would you say that content is too hard to read or is it just a strain on eyes? The darkness was created to provide users less strain when viewing.

Thanks,

Shark

In regards to the first photo on the slideshow, I'd lighten it up a little bit so it'd be more visible. It's just a minor suggestions though, no big deal.

Roger that. I'll definitely look into it and see what I can find that may fit better. Thank you for your feedback 😉

No problem at all. Let me know if you need any additional help. 👍
Just a update on the website, we are adding SSL to the site effective Monday. For those that were sad about that, it is coming and coming ASAP. Thank you for mentioning it and your voices have been heard.

I like the site, some images might need optimization as they take time to load, maybe its just my connection but you can make a loader animation to avoid this problem.. ...also i can't help and notice no ssl, as a security company you should take all steps in order to secure communication between yourself and potential users/customers. Iv seen few of these and it always makes me giggle when you visit the site with huge banner "cyber security" and the scored padlock at the address bar saying connection not secure. Anyway .. good luck.

For some reason the website takes time to load especially the images, also when browsing subforums consider to remove the "welcome to the forum" part for visitors

The rest looks fine and smooth

Can you elaborate where you experience slowness or lag? In regards to the welcome to the forum, do you think it's necessary for either members or visitors?

Thanks,

Shark

The first time without caches is very slow, I don't think is necessary with the big slider
