So, i just finished watching the anime and i must that i really liked it, however i feel like there are concepts that i didnt understand at all, was it me that i didnt get them or its just that the anime skipped some parts?

Are you saying the show it self leaves holes in it or did you start watching S2 of DTD? If you are watching the 2nd season and haven't seen the OVA of season one you may be a bit confused.

I have just watched both seasons all over again and enjoyed it as if I was watching it for the first time lol. Watch it again in a few years, you will get it better:)

If you watched all the content, you should be feeling pretty satisfied, I can't remember all of it because I watched it atleast 3+ years ago, however I know I really enjoyed it.

I just discovered that there are like 5 episodes that i skipped and i didnt know of, i though that ovas were always out of the main content.

Yeah that is usually true but the OVAs of Darker is definitely very plot heavy going into season 2.
