Python

Program being picked up by Windows "SmartScreen"

So my program is in the windows start up directory on peoples PC's, everytime they restart their PC they get an error message saying "Windows protected your PC". Similar to this:

Lots of people get suspicious and disallow it to run. My program is just a python file which runs using the pythonw.exe.

Any idea?
If it's professional you could buy a signature to bypass in a certain way Windows SmartScreen
If this is at work you could try and add your script to a white list. Be aware that you're requiring people to have Python installed for this to run. On the flip side, you could do some testing. Perhaps Windows auto-blocks any pythonw script. If you can get a simple hello world working then you should try and obfuscate your code to bypass behavioral and signature based detection.
