I think there should be a moderator for Web Construction and/or Web Reviews. The moderator should have a duty to remove any non-sense threads such as any advertisement threads that are not allowed to be on HF. Just a suggestion.

Advertisements are allowed as long as they don't advertise other hacking forums.

If they are ads for hacking forums you report it as advertising.
If it's not a hacking site you report it as wrong forum.

I asked a staff member (Won't say which.) and this is the reply I got.

As long as it's not a hacking related site I would probably let it pass.

I think it's fine currently.
Any nonsense posts seem to be sorted by staff members. Relatively quickly.
So I don't think it's necessary and I don't think Omni likes using mods.

Website Show Case and Review is fine to "advertise in" just say "how is my forum www.forumexample.net dong?" The title of that section basically give that away, lol. 🙂

I forgot who said that.

Oh well. I will just closed this then.
