Just great. Went out with friends the other day to the lake behind their house and we were messing around in their paddle boat and it fell in! I was able to retrieve it but its been acting funky ever since. So now it finally crapped out on me and it doesnt even turn on :( RIP my S7 😭

Boo. The same thing happened to me back when the iPhone 3gs was poppin. Maybe you could have saved it if you buried it in rice afterwards.

I did. It sat there for like a whole day and a half. Thats how it lasted a few days then finally poof its ded.

i think you should put into in a rice bag for few hours it may help u lol i recovered my phone once like that but it was didn't dropped on lake but sink lmfao

Leave it to dry for a few days, don't chuck it. It might come back to life!
I found an old Ipod in a bush during heavy rain and it didn't turn on. I still kept it and like.. ages later It turned on.

i dropped my phone is a bucket of hot water and disinfectant stuff and it was surprisingly working after. the sound was muffled but after a few hours in rice is was back to regular. i had that phone untill last week when i lost it in my house lol even posted a thread on it.
