Python

Is there a way to make a .exe that just opens command prompt and runs a program?

Basically just want to make it so people can double click my exe and it will open command prompt and start running. Just so they don't have to know how to get around command prompt basically.
google pyinstaller that should help you on your way.

I agree, pyinstaller is the way to go!
Just use system(), ect.......
You can also just use batch scripting. The file won't be an exe, but it can still be ran by just double clicking.

They are two very different beasts with different strengths though

You can compile a batch to a .exe actually. It's not the batch script itself, but would work the same http://www.battoexeconverter.com/ 🤫

You wouldn't have any reason to do that though. You can simply use python with the os.system() commands or subprocess commands. You could even call cmd.exe directly and use different ways of controlling it if you're wanting a weird way of doing it lol

Use the os module's system method to execute shell commands or for Py3 checkout the new subprocesses docs.python.org/3/library/subprocess.html
I recommend cx_freeze to compile your Python
