I just got ftp information for a server i was targeting (brute forcing), but whenever i try to login it says 550 :/ No such file or directory

I am sure that the IP is the right one since when i typed it in bing it did show the website i first got the ip from.

Is there any explanation for that or a way to bypass it?

The error means exactly what it says: the file/directory you are trying to browse doesn't exist.
There's no way to bypass it other than changing directory.
