I made a light weight program that gives you a notification if you receive a PM on HF.

Features:
  • Hide API key
  • Set custom refresh time (in seconds)
  • very light weight (264 KB)
  • Easy to use
  • Remember me option
  • Log option to view messages you might have missed

Security Notes:
  • Please be sure to lock your key to your IP address in the API Key page. This will almost fully remove any possibility of being compromised.
  • If you are compromised immediately visit the API Key page and remove that key.
  • Logs are not saved. When you exit out of the log window all logs will be erased.

I just updated the link and scan, I added two things:
  • I made it so you can't click "start" unless something is typed in at least one of the textboxes (to prevent the program from bugging out)
  • Fixed the borders

Fantastic tool. One suggestion would be to let it minimize to a tray icon having that tab open bugs me. Thanks for making this!

Very nice. Any intention on releasing the source?
Moving on in life in such a way that doesn't include HF. HF allowed me to get into the security field and peaked my interest: I appreciate everyone's time, effort, and encouragement. If for some reason you have a means to message me outside HF, feel free to, but I won't be coming back.
