Ever since March, I've quit my job as a Waiter in a high class Italian restaurant to focus on personal endeavors and small financial projects while I enjoy my summer. What I've learned in this time off of a job is that I'm much happier when living life for a living. What I mean by this is dictating every hour of your schedule and making your money off whatever you see fit to put your money/time into. 🤝
Now, I'm not above getting a job to get ahead and put oneself in a better position; all I'm saying is that after two years of working full time all the time, my quality of life has undoubtedly increased.
I'm young, of course I'll be getting another job down the road, but I feel as though this is a commonly shared goal among many people on HF. This world is becoming too advanced for a clever, unemployed, and opportunistic individual to not be self-sufficient. Live life for a living, fuck serving & putting smiles on shitty peoples faces. 🎉
