Crystal-ish drawing?

Just practicing my illustrations and I'm not to sure what I came up with but I think it looks kinda cool,
Just started drawing a few months ago. Feel like it would go well as an element for a userbar.

Looks really nice for a cartoonish icon (i.e minecraft server rank for a simple example)
Looks neat. It seems like something that would be rendered in a 3D program. Great work so far!
That actually looks hella dope. What program did you make that with? The shading looks sexy as fuck
Where are all my friends

Thanks man, Im actually using PaintTool SAI2 🙂
That's actually a monk/priest/mage cloth, robe, cape or a raid boss silhouette. Add some eyes, a lot more details. Maybe some glowing elements. A glowing/floating crown. I've played plenty of MMORPGS to know where this is going.

Looks really nice. Could use for userbars. Looking forward to more of your works!
It has an interesting style. Whatever you use it for be sure not to stray too far from that style or it will never feel like "it fits", especially if you include it in something where it retains it's size.

Thanks! Going to make a few test UB's and see how they look.
What do you use to draw? I've always wondered this.
Looks like a great idea. Try to keep your edges clean, they seem a bit messy. You could use more contrast as well. I suggest you look into Value for illustrating and digital painting. That way (hopefully) you will have a better feel of what I mean by " contrast " which is a vague word anyone could throw out there, really.

My brush was the biggest downfall for me in trying to create clean lines and line art, so do some research into the brush tool and brush present (don't go downloading random brushes and overusing them though). You need to find a brush that is comfortable for your painting/illustrating style.

I'd recommend to look at Ctrl+Paint for more information.
