How do you spread something through LAN and USB? The USB part is kinda tricky, the moment it is plugged in a software installs itself in the USB but stays invisible to the eye, then the user plugs it into another computer where the software copies itself in the computer and continues running. Someone told me something about Python scripting in another forum but since I don't know anything about Python I can't do it. Thank you.

Sounds like a USB rubber ducky or a device like it which is a USB hardware device hardcoded at its firmware to run custom scrips or payloads and runs these automatically by tricking the OS computer system into thinking its a keyboard device allowing it to then issue and run payload scripts via keyboard shortcut keys. https://hakshop.com/products/usb-rubber-ducky-deluxe Another thing I would suggest looking into is a USB LAN turtle, Which is another hardware device by hak5. The USB LAN turtle once placed on a system or within the LAN allows a remote user to control the LAN and system in the LAN via multiple methods, Like dns spoofing arp spoofing dropping reverse shells and so on. So with a LAN turtle device placed on a system within the LAN allows a remote user to easily control that entire network from a outside connection. https://hakshop.com/collections/lan-turt...lan-turtle But if you are looking into coding your own spread on LAN software then sure python could work. Really it would just require a script that dns spoofs the network which forces other users within the LAN to download your target payload file. Usually through the default router/modem DHCP settings "Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol" or dns "Dynamic Name Server " settings itself it can alter the gateway or systems on the gateway to redirect one host to another host.
I was actually thinking about a normal USB, user A plugs his "random" USB in computer A, the payload is then copied by the script into the USB without the user knowledge. User A then unplugs the USB and then plugs it into computer B, the script takes the payload and installs it into computer B. It's not a huge project even tho both of Hak5 options are great in what they do, so, I will have to stick with the Python script, can't find one for this specific task.

Problem is that since Windows XP, no Windows support Autorun from USB's, hence why a Rubber Ducky is a lot more useful.
I sometimes come around and poke a few threads before leaving for a few months again.
