I need a laptop for college but I don't want a macbook. I'm a business major and I'm going to be using it for just daily browsing, watching movies, doing work on excel and shit like that.

Why don't you want a macbook? They're lightweight, beautiful, and powerful.
You could definitely find one on craigslist for that price.
