This is now my 6th or 7th time I got scammed and most of the scams were from reputable members. I think I am done for doing deals trough HF since it seems every exchanger (maybe I'm wrong) is a ticking time bomb waiting to exit scam (props to those who are really legit).

EDIT: after some investigation he used his girlfriends paypal to send out the payment!

BTW if someone knows how to fight this I will reward him with some BTC :)

You can use btc debit cards always if it is cash problems.

All you can do is keep this thread alive, add him to the database and hope for the best. I got chargedbacked on a few times. Paypal sided with me and after they did their research they came to the conclusion that it was setup. Hope you get your money back.

I'm not taking sides but I know for a fact that King makes enough money on his Amazon Businesses that he wouldn't need to scam for $1k. I talked with a friend that said he spoke with King and that King told him he lost access to his account around a week ago. Not sure the validity of that but I don't think this is the original account owner. Nonetheless sorry that you got scammed OP.

I talked with a friend that said he spoke with King and that King told him he lost access to his account around a week ago. Not sure the validity of that but I don't think this is the original account owner. Nonetheless sorry that you got scammed OP.

OP confirmed that the PayPal email was different than the one he used in May so this could be the case. I am not 100% sure though. From what I have gathered from a bit of digging is that he has an IRL business.

I needed to purchase some stuff from eBay quickly so didn't bother to do it that way. But I think I will do it that way next time :/

Well I needed to exchange 1k more and he told me he has a "friend" who can do that exchange I sent him the money for that transaction also but he couldn't do the exchange because of some paypal error at his side so he refunded me that money after 24 hours.
Can You get in touch with him somehow. I also doubt that he would scam me for only 1k when he had an opportunity to take 2k$.

If such thing happened he'd be making a community alert and telling it you personally, he probably sold his account as 2FA was still enabled.

It's not a hacked PayPal, it's a paypal of a scammer who profits off exchanging and chargebacking.

There might be someone that'd be able to help you with the CB.

Always use a very trusted middleman. I would advise to never go first for an amount over $100+.

I really hate to see members like King scam, pathetic.
