So I read somewhere that Ethereum hark fork will happen this month and if you keep ethereum in desktop wallet you would get fee Ethereum as Ethereum would split into two and you would get two different versions of ethereum.
Is is true if yes then would it work in myetherwallet too ?

No, as miners will move to the new fork and ditch the old one...there is no debate and no one is taking the old ethereums "side" and no dev team will be maintaining the old chain. It will simply be ditched as no one will be mining on it and the new one will be the new main chain

I am not particularly educated on the subject, but i do think you will get 2 different tokens after the split. Even if one will be useless as the person above me said.

So to answer the OP, yes, you will probably have 2 tokens, same way as you did after BTC split. But the difference will be, that one will be useless.
