Depends how much junk code you add. Sometimes online scanners won't pick up it as a virus due to a file size limit.

Well the goal of junk code should be to change the execution flow of your virus. Include a lot of fake functions, fake loops and fake calls. But I don't think it will really help you to evade heuristic detections.

well it does help a little with heuristic detections but still i never liked this method
